<Sic Finit Noctem> is a Horde guild on the Hyjal-PVE Server. We are a Mythic Progression guild looking for more raiders to improve our roster. If you are looking for a progression-minded guild that raids on a very light schedule, look no further!

About Us:

The current incarnation of SFN is the result of a pseudo-merger/assimilation of another guild on Hyjal, <Nomad>, roughly one month ago. At the time, we had suffered some roster setbacks and were in a "rebuilding" phase. <Nomad> was a successful and well-respected guild on the server who were at 6/13 Mythic and progressing on Gorefiend by the start of August. Unfortunately the guild died at that time, but a lot of the raiders wanted to stick together. This was just what SFN needed to get back to Mythic progression, and we took 10-12 of Nomad's raiders, including our current raid leader, under our banner and we have been raiding together as one guild ever since. We have gone from 12/13 Heroic to 6/13 Mythic in one month's time, on a 7.5 hour per week schedule. This is a fact we are very proud of.

We are a close group who often hang out outside of raid playing other games, or just hanging out in mumble. We have a lot of fun, but we also know when to focus up and get stuff done in raid.

Raid Schedule:

We raid Tuesday/Thursday/Monday, from 7:30pm PST to 10pm PST. This is only 7.5 hours per week, one of the lighter raid schedules out there for a Mythic guild.

Most of our guild is 25+ years in age, with a variety of RL commitments and jobs. We understand that RL comes first, and that is why we have stuck to such a light schedule.

Our leadership is transparent and encourages open lines of communication between the leadership group and the raiders. We don't just beat our heads against the wall during progression. We re-evaluate what we're doing after a wipe, discuss what needs to be worked on and/or fixed, and we adapt to it.

What we want:

We are looking for like-minded raiders whose main goal is to progress at a good pace with a fun group of people. We want people who min/max, look at logs and try to improve their performance daily. We are not looking for raiders who want to coast and get carried through Mythic. Everybody at SFN carries their own weight.

We are looking for raiders who are able to step into our current progression. Due to our light schedule, we no longer re-clear Heroic every week for gear.
