In-Geom trick

Hey guys, I was messing around on my wizard yesterday running a Tal-Rasha's speed farm build and just doing rifts. Naturally I have In-Geom in the cube to help speed it up. While looking around for an elite pack I stumbled into a pack of goblins to my dismay thinking I wouldn't be able to get them all. To my surprise killing one actually triggers the In-Geom effect. I just wanted to pass the info along as I didn't know it did that.

Well treasure goblins are counted as elite mobs. They also, I do believe, proc Bane of the Powerful.

Like I said, I didn't know and never really noticed before as I generally don't use In-Geom or BoTP. I haven't seen anywhere that it states goblins are elites, and D3 has a lot of under the hood stuff that most players never will realize (e.g. Power Pylon Snap Shotting, Bane of the Stricken snap shotting, etc).

Yeah, I realized it when I noticed something proccing off a goblin that was suppose to proc off elites. I think it was BoTP. I'm pretty sure they're treated as elites.

They are, I think it's how they take into account the greater HP they get.
