    Darkness is coming

The Autumn is here and winter not far away. This means the days are getting shorter (where I live ) and darkness falls at 6-7PM. Next month darkness will come at 4-5PM. The darkness makes me depressed. Winter is terrible... I like lots of light coming through my big window, now only darkness. I feel like I can't breath... It is suffocating me. How the hell do Scandinavian peoples deal with darkness all the time? ...

What can I do to stop this affecting me???

Winter is hard for me as well. Alot of bipolar people have trouble with winter. Something about the sun being behind clouds for most of it. It's just gloomy.

I hate sunlight, finally I can be free of the orb of death that hangs high in the sky.

I feel that way about the days getting too long in summer. But maybe that is because I am like 90% Scandinavian?

Darkness is calming and peaceful to me, sunny days are stressful.

As a Canadian i love it. Plus winter is dry, while cold the air is so fresh and good to breath.

Darkness is cozy. Easier to sleep, can see the stars, nice contrast to lit candles and fireplaces.. I never understood winter depression. Most people just don't care and work around it.
