Swtor launcher problem

Is there a new launcher? i see people talking about it but cant find it anywhere... the old launcher is not working for me, i did try to reinstall the game but still the same.. (not a sub atm so cant ask on swtor forums) Plz help:/

They're supposed to be doing maintenance on the launcher today. I would say keep trying to log in via the old launcher (close and reopen the launcher) or try running a repair by clicking the cog on the old launcher.

The nwe launcher works for me.Although what exactly is the change in launcher for?
