Yeah build looks imbalanced, a few quick pointers:
    - Expensive board that you won't use cause you got a locked cpu
    - You don't really need an aftermarket cpu cooler since you won't overclock but if you're going for a cheap quiet solution then get the pure rock
    - Corsair vengeance has 2-3types if its the ones with tall fins they won't fit below the cpu cooler.
    - I bet you can get a better case for the money.
    - Same goes for psu
    - Lastly 27" for 1080p is too much. Consider 1080p @ 24" max. 27" for 1440p.

If you could fill up the forums sticky then can help you more.

Include the following information when posting a request.

    -Budget
    -Resolution
    -Games / Settings Desired
-Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc)
    -Country
    -Parts that can be reused
    -Do you need an OS?
-Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)?

Ideally include a list of parts, we see the same request almost every day. There are other topics that have parts lists that you can copy and modify.

    Hi, Kostattoo,
    Thank you for your answer!
Duly noted about 27" monitor, will swap it with 24" one. As for the case: was just going for the "looks", but thanks for your advice!

Can you please name an alternative motherboard and psu that would fit better in this build?
Shall I just stick with the stock cpu cooler than?

    Budget:
My budget is up to ~1,3k euro, but I won't to avoid overspending on things I won't really need/use. Not going to overclock anything.

    Resolution:
Don't really have the money for 144HZ / 1440p with this setup, so am going for 1980x1020.

    Games:
Mostly WoW (Good settings in raids are fine), sometimes Cities Skylines. No video encoding/3D modelings etc. planned.

    Country:
Europe (planning to buy all the stuff on amazon.co.uk).

    OS:
    Win 7 preferable.

    Reusable parts:
    DVD ROM only.

If that means UK then i figure you're talking about £960. If you're not in UK/Ireland then you should specify the country cause prices will vary a lot from country to country.

This is the skylake version, ability to overclock with nice monitor:

The following is the version were if you cut down where you "could", you could fit a gtx970. Obviously you can change the gtx970 with an R9 390 if you choose so, same money.

edit: The difference between skylake and haswell-refresh, cpu/mobo combo, is like 20pounds. Its worth it imo just to move on to DDR4 alone. Also 2x4gb is enough for gaming, you don't need 16 but you can grab another pair later if you need it.
