Just a thought. I wanna see your opinions on the xpac. How's your hype?
I only got a little hyped when they announced the Daredevil. Otherwise, I'll wait and see.
And you?

I'm going to be cutting bitches up with my Reaper. HELLS YES I'M EXCITED!.
I really like the new zone and can't wait for the other new ones. We've only seen a small part of Verdant Brink, but it's already quite big and full with details. Getting masteries which unlocks new ways to traverse the map gives me a Zelda/Metroid feeling.
I'm not a player who enjoys raids/instanced group content in other games, but I've tried the raid in the beta and I really dig it. It's a really fun experience without the drama that goes with content like this I've experienced in other games.
...and I love the new specialisations. I didn't think that Revenant would be something I like, since it looked quite boring... but I have completely changed my mind now that I've played it. Totally in love with the Herald specialisation, can't wait for HoT.
I just hope they improved the PvE after the 3 years.
Will try it but thats it.
Guild Wars 2 is one of the most interesting MMOs to watch being developed. I am interested.
Sorta, I suppose. New specs to learn for classes to go along with a whole new class. New zones to explore. Mastery system stuff (maybe now I will finally work on a legendary).
Oddly enough, I'm not very excited for raids. If they're going to be super serious "hardcore" content, then I will simply pass at this point. I have zero desire to plan my evenings around being on at a set time in order to raid. Years of doing that in WoW has burned me out on doing it anymore at all.
For the most part. But, I find myself very disappointed with the Druid above all else. It's awkward because Rangers have fairly awful utilities and traits, at least compared to the other professions, the decision to make their elite specialization so niche is maddening to me. At least with the other professions that probably won't be running their elites, Elementalists and Warriors are doing so because their core specializations are insanely powerful.
Yeah that's quite annoying. The devs had a huge opportunity to actually address some of the core Ranger issues that have been plaguing the profession since day 1... but no, here's a completely new support spec that will only be useful in raids. >_>
I mean they could've given Rangers a spammable AoE like the guardian's staff 1 or something...
That was pretty rad. Haven't seen the original trailer and now I don't want to, because I can't live up to that background music matched to it.
Don't forget the Jungle Book mash up too
Hrm...have to admit that GnR video mashup was more exciting than any cinematics I've seen for the real game. I was going to post that I wasn't excited, but I was looking forward to it...but I can raise my excitement dial by a notch for that video. That was good stuff.
BAD WOLF
I am pretty excited for raids, impressed with the beta but the QQ on forums has already begun about timers and what not... blah blah make it easy so I can afk the fight etc.
If they nerf the fights or timers there will be no challenge and no point.
ANet needs to put legendary armor and any other exclusive reward from raids obtainable in other places so these people can just get the fuck on with their crybaby lives, I'm fine with an achievement and a title or something.
Gods forbid you actually need to pay attention for once to collect your reward.
INB4 ELITIST
Maybe people would like to pay attention on their own without needing to hope 4-24 other people do the same?
Idk...I don't think you've earned that criticism. You are saying they should put rewards elsewhere so people can do the content they like to get the rewards. That's very unelitist. Granted you aren't very nice or understanding about the reasons for why it is necessary, but it seems like you're still helping in your own way. All us casual folk thank you!
BAD WOLF
Yeah I'm really hyped. Currently have a level 70 warrior after leaving WoW and I actually find gw2 to be really damn good. The story, questing, fractals, getting gear, pvp, I've had a pretty good time so far, and this new expac looks like it's going to be really good. It has a lot of content coming with it along with a new class and new specs and even raids. And so far from what I've heard from the beta, the raids are actually good and the new zone looks badass so...
Hells yeah i'm hyped
Lazuli IMPRESSED? wut has the world ended? If Lazuli is impressed this expansion must be god level or something

I received a day one ORAS demo code. I am a chosen one.
I saw the new PvP and Wv currencies will be tradeable (so I assume they'll be in the TP), if they did something similar with legendary mats so you could buy them on the TP, that might work.
Assuming the legendary armor isn't just raid drops, but is a collection system similar to weapons.
