I honestly believe you can't tackle any of the other issues because there will be large bleeding hearts out there who will say it isn't fair because-insert bullshit social justice idea here- so we should just bend over and be accepting.

For me, the most important is the refugee crisis and how to best deal with it. A humanitarian crisis has developed, and the UK government is in part responsible for it (the UK and the US helped to birth ISIS), and therefore needs a humane response. People have genuine concerns over how to best do this. I think it is crucial, for our common humanity, to get this right.

The one that concerns me the most are the authoritarian left (often called SJW's), as a white, cis, heterosexual male with no physical disabilities, the people in that group hate me just for existing (and don't think equality legislation should protect me, just because of how I was born, not something I have done), and in some areas (academia, to a small extent in politics) are growing in influence, and increasingly difficult to criticise without being labelled every kind of "ist".

I have to agree. I think our "leaders" are way over their heads in dealing with this crisis. The situation is exposing our "leaders" total lack of leadership qualities.
