Cold. In Georgia heat and humidity makes it miserable, dont eat while working due to it.

Cold makes the pains worse, but its easier to function in.

Cold, it's much easier to warm yourself up but cooling off is fucking annoying.

I picked hot. I can just turn on the AC when inside and being able to walk around in shorts + t-shirt without jacket/gloves beats having to wear 3 layers of clothes not to freeze!

I define hot as 30C< and cold as <0C
If we start talking extremes like 40C< or <-20C I would just flat out die!

I was watching a documentary last night that was showing some of the effects of the invention of air conditioning. The populations of southern cities in the US boomed in the decades following the invention of air conditioning, resulting in a major shift of electoral college votes to the southern more conservative states. The documentary went so far as to credit the election of Ronald Reagan to the invention of air conditioning.

I'm not sure I'd go that far, but it was an interesting premise for sure. In 1900, Houston had a population of 44,000. Today it's the fourth largest city in the country.

I'd say cold, its far easy to get warm with additional clothes.
The trouble with air conditioning is the energy cost.

I would choose hot because the agricultural output would not lead to a global famine.

All you people who have choosen cold for your own comfort you are genocidal massmurderers

hot, I may complain about it but after growing up in the cold I can't say I miss it much beyond feels of nostalgia.

Cold, as long as it snows.

    I'll go with Frost:

"Some say the world will end in fire,
    Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
    Is also great
    And would suffice."
"In today’s America, conservatives who actually want to conserve are as rare as liberals who actually want to liberate. The once-significant language of an earlier era has had the meaning sucked right out of it, the better to serve as camouflage for a kleptocratic feeding frenzy in which both establishment parties participate with equal abandon" (Taking a break from the criminal, incompetent liars at the NSA, to bring you the above political observation, from The Archdruid Report.)

It depends what you define as hot and cold. I would prefer -10°C over 40°C, so I voted cold.

    Hot

I dont like extremes of either but if theres one thing I dislike more than anything its cold hands and feet

Then again....no more Hot Chocolates or Peasoup,. Hmm, I might have to reconsider

Cold can be controlled, being hot is pretty difficult. Even when my heating goes in the winter, I can always put extra clothes on but in the summer when its boiling hot, I can't sleep and just feel sticky all the time.

There are plenty of crops that can grow in winter such as potatoes, broccoli, onions and spinach. I would prefer cold because you can always pack on more layers. Unfortunately when it is hot there are only so many layers you can take off before you die.
