Except the super-massive majority of Christians make clear westboro's errors and wrongness. Every time I see the freedom from religion foundation do something I never see any atheists rushing in chastising them.

Guess all you have to do is label every worldview as a religion then. Oh but some don't include gods? Neither does Buddhism, yet the term 'non-theistic religion' seems easily applied to it. In fact, dictionary.com says religion is defined as:

"a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, especially when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs. "

Though it says 'especially' in there, it doesn't say 'exclusively'. So, basically any belief or set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature and purpose of the universe.
“Humanism means that the man is the measure of all things...But it is not only that man must start from himself in the area of knowledge and learning, but any value system must come arbitrarily from man himself by arbitrary choice.” - Francis A. Schaeffer

Who is "them"? There's no unified ideology behind atheism. There's no opinion or actions you can ascribe to them as a group other than not believing in a deity.

And I'm not American, but it sure seems like a lot of your court rulings on this stuff is decided by the personal beliefs of the officials behind the rulings.
