HFC caches

All the posts says it takes 8 kills to get a cache for that difficulty. Hows sure of that are we? I have 13 kills in heroic and still get lfr caches 3rd time in a row.




i tried failing it to reset it last time but i passed with a 32%

It's only 8 for mythic caches I think I remember hearing it's around 15 for N/H but I don't recall.

Comments on wowhead seem to be saying ~15 kills aswell.

I got a heroic cache after one kill on my main, my alts seem to be all over the place though.

You had mythic BRF kills on your main then. Previous tier kills worked towards unlocking one difficulty lower for the HFC cache.

Had them on alts too, that have done normal and heroic HFC and still receive LFR caches. Then others that have never touched BRF (besides lfr) and have heroic caches after a few kills.

Posting my personal experience.
I have killed Blackhand on HC, not a single mythic BRF kill.
My HfC cache started normal, went heroic after 8 HfC HC kills.
From that, one can assume that 8 kills to open the same difficulty cache are needed only if you kill same difficulty, previous tier last boss.
