Can anybody explain this to me?
Probably something to do with fighting stereotypes or body image or something like that.
This mindset sums it up perfectly.

Armpit hair is shaved as a way to be more attractive, period. There's no reason to do it otherwise (otherwise men would all do it too). So it's empowering in the sense that not doing means you put your own time/laziness ahead of trying to maintain a societal view of attractiveness.
You're not allowed to discuss conspiracy theories on mmo-champion, which makes me wonder what they're trying to hide.
If you grow your armpit hair out you are gross. End of story.

Supposedly women only clean up because of men. Not shaving their armpit hair is a protest against the patriarchy that forces them to maintain their personal hygiene. Or something along those lines.
You can die it or braid it.
Other than that, IDK.

I don't think me growing my arm pit hair is empowering them. I think it has to do with them growing their armpit hair.

Everyone's got different tastes in personal aesthetics, which is fine.
Doesn't mean I have to like it.

I was thinking about shaving my armpit mostly because it has been giving me itches at work when wearing an uniform. Shaved armpits are more attractive on women in most cases...
From what little I've seen, it's about women shouldn't "feel forced" into doing anything to make themselves more aesthetically pleasing, because that's a way to turn them into objects. On the other hand, you SHOULD find them aesthetically pleasing no matter how they look, or else you're shaming.
It's a difficult subculture to navigate.....
People really ought to do whatever the hell they like without making such a huge deal of it. We don't need articles and news stories on the state of some twitter-users armpit hair. Just don't expect people to find you attractive regardless of what you do with your body.
