The MoP-ost is just awful. Its literally the worst ost of any Blizzard game. Overall, I ended up enjoying MoP a lot, but when l hear this shitty asian-themed music, l remember all the bad parts about mop (pandas, asian theme, ugh).

That was glorious. This thread reminds me of how the Lord of the Rings movie influenced WoW. It kept reminding me of the first movie when I first tried it, especially because of the elves.

mop music is the best that have been cast in the history of wow. they have very well recreated the Asian theme with these harmonies

I agree, wholeheartedly. The only critique I could offer would be that most tracks didn't possess this atmospheric longevity that some of the older tracks did. While not as enchanting/empowering/melanchotic/mysterious/emotionally inciting (yadda yadda) many of the tracks from Classic/BC can be listened to for hours without tiring of them.

My personal MoP favorites are August Celestials, Balloon Ride (the build-up!), Windwalker, Brewmaster, Song of Liulang and, of course, Serpent Riders (Tell me you don't feel like flying!).
