    gpu upgrade

I was thinking of upgrading my gpu, because it is ancient. ive got my eyes set on a R7 370. However, there are so many variants of that card, ranging in price from 120 to almost 200 euro.

    XFX Radeon R7 370 - Double Dissipation Edition - Grafikkarten - Radeon R7 370 - 2GB GDDR5 - PCI
    XFX Radeon R7 370 - Core Edition - Grafikkarten - Radeon R7 370 - 2GB GDDR5 - PCI Express 3.0 x16
    Sapphire RADEON Dual-X R7 370 2G D5 - Grafikkarten - Radeon R7 370 - 2GB GDDR5 - PCI
    Asus ASUS STRIX-R7370-DC2-2GD5-GA AMD Radeon R7 370 2GB

And i could go on, there are many more. What is the difference between them all? and does it matter when buying one?

There are few questions before we can help you with whats best. Whats the models of your motherboard and power supply. What resolution are you playing, what is the budget ceiling and where you are located (cause prices are different all over europe).

I got an MSI P33 B85M motherboard. A antec vp450p (450W PSU) I play at 1600x900, and live in the netherlands.

Also, my current one is a Radeon HD6670 GPU... I just want to be able to play new games on decent settings.

Maybe your PSU is a bit to weak for a R7 370 oh and the R7 380 just had a price drop 170-200€ since the R7 380x will be released soon.

Or you can get a gtx960 for 200euro no problems with psu.

    The PSU is fine...

You should even be able to run a 290x on a 450 watt. Not that you would want to, but it is possible.

Is the gpu itself (the R7 370) any good? Will it be able to handle newer games? and yeah.. my question actually was what the difference was between all the different versions.

There's very little difference between the versions other than cooling solution and maybe base clock speed. Its rarely worth paying for mild overclocks as you can simply overclock it yourself, and the card is low end enough that any of those coolers is going to be more than good enough.

If you can swing it, the GTX 950 or 960 are both far better, though slightly more expensive, and will absolutely not give you power issues (they both use sub 130W TDP).

Using GPUboss, it says the 960 actually uses more power than the r7?

edit: the 960 is way to expensive for my budget.

    EVGA GeForce GTX 960 04G-P4-3967-KR 4GB @ 191€
    MSI GeForce GTX 960 GTX 960 GAMING 100ME @200€
    GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 960 4GB @ 200€
    GIGABYTE G1 Gaming GeForce GTX 960 GV-N960G1 GAMING-2GD 2GB @ 191€

The 2nd one, its the 4gb version @ 191, seems good enough.

Nope i never said i had a E200 budget. Only that the R7 ranged from 125 to 200. My max budget is about E150

Also, with tax and shipping, that second option comes down to Total: €267,32

Ok i misunderstood then, that aside, 75euro for shipping doesn't sound right must be something wrong. Personally i don't find the r7 series good enough for gaming only the r9, i would take a gtx950 as minimum. That aside performance wise for r7 370 all brand will have similar performance in same clocks, the difference would be in cooling. Xfx half the times is loud as a cooler, sapphire i would only get their 3fans solution. Msi and asus are usually the most quiet ones and gigabyte is usually a little bit above on sound than those 2 but offers little better cooling.

Will the 950 be able to handle Wow on ultra?

I could of sworn your links were Newegg before, now there are Ebay. That aside,

    Dude you are Dutch.
Why the hell are you looking in International sites?

You're Dutch which means you have an array of shops available and a perfect tool to go along with it:
PriceWatch if you know the model you are looking for.

And here an example of a good cheap GTX 960 with most of em free delivery.
MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GD5T OC

    Or even better:
    MSI Radeon R9 380 2GD5T OC

I know you originally said your budget wasn't € 200,- but you yourself are looking there anyway.
    So have a look properly.
