    I know fruit of the poisonous tree exists. But it shouldnt. All it does is allow for people to get away with shit due to technicalities or loopholes. It shouldnt matter how evidence is obtained, as long as its true and relevant to the case. Nothing pisses me off more than a criminal getting off the hook

    You follow up on it and investigate. If its true, then you can use it. If it is NOT true, then you torture him some more until he starts telling the truth.

    Of course they were present. The UK had to at least have someone present in good faith after throwing the guy under the bus. The trick is trying to figure out which British official wanted to put this man away... and why? Sounds like an interesting crime story.
