As long as you don't steal the cookies, because then you go to jail for life.

Its about a few other things too. A big one being the US for-profit prison system. I didn't know that all US military hats and up to a third of US office furniture are made by inmates who are unable to refuse working and being paid a quarter a day. Essentially anti-capitalism.

I take that literally. Tough choice, who doesn't like cookies or would pass on a dildo to give to grandma as x-mas gift.
But soon after Mr Xi secured a third term, Apple released a new version of the feature in China, limiting its scope. Now Chinese users of iPhones and other Apple devices are restricted to a 10-minute window when receiving files from people who are not listed as a contact. After 10 minutes, users can only receive files from contacts.
Apple did not explain why the update was first introduced in China, but over the years, the tech giant has been criticised for appeasing Beijing.

There was a big spike in crime back in the 1990s, voters were concerned and politicians, always looking for a vote, scrambled to make voters feel safe. A lot of laws were passed to make it easier to lock people up for a long time.

Bad thing about this is, crime is way down today and it's pretty difficult for the system to reverse itself and stop locking people away in prison. What politician is going to tell voters he is soft on crime and will release criminals if elected.

    So democracy happened.

I just don´t see how money equals speech in a democracy.

I'm just curious, do you think there is any correlation between the two things you mentioned? locking people up being easier and crime being down?
