Best way to clean out your PC of dust build up?

I haven't been the best cleaning out my PC. I built it over 1.5 years ago and cleaned it once, but it was very small amounts of dust. But now it's much worse and I need to clean this puppy out.

What's the best method of cleaning? I'll be heading to Walmart in the next few hours so give me some suggestions. Not looking to ordering anything online.

Canned air, a small vacuum unit, isopropyl alcohol. Those are basically all you need.
    Working on my next ban.

just dont let fans spin (can cause bearing damage). Dont push it on the psi and dont clean at point blank range of gpu/mobo.

Just went to Walmart. Lol. They wanted 45 dollars for a 3 pack of canned air. The only option they had.

Make sure that when you buy a spray that you use it on something else first to see if it doesn't form condensation.

I personally start to dismantle it, as in refreshing the cooling paste etc, but that might be too much or too advanced for regular PC owners.

Canned air, do not under any circumstances use a vaccum cleaner unless it is an anti static vaccum cleaner (No, your vaccum cleaner isn't).

Amazon has them for considerably less. 10.99 USD plus shipping for 6 cans, for example (http://www.amazon.com/Ultra-Duster-C...rds=canned+air).

I use a compressor. Wouldn't buy one just for cleaning out a PC but if you happen to have a decent one, its the best method.

I use compressed air. Since you want a home remedy.....in Florida on my uncles old computer, he was too dumb and ghetto to buy real air so we used a hair dryer set to cool.

But you have to understand I was willing to lose the PC. It did work perfectly fine afterward.

Been using a Metrovac for as long as I can remember. They are kind of the standard for IT work if you dont want to use a compressor. I've had mine for ~5 years now and it still works as well as the first day I got it.

10 atm air compressor, and after that it's like new!

Air compressor works OK as long as you have a full tank. I still prefer a Datavac because you can just plug it in and go.

Why do you all want to blow the dust out with a compressor or whatever?

A vacuum cleaner and a brush do just fine....

    Edit:
Okay, I get it, it's about beeing lazy.

Because the brush bristles are made of nylon that can damage your hardware from esd. Not to mention if you aren't careful, you can pop capacitors or resistors off with a brush.

You are not supposed to scrub the hardware.
