Pet Battles in Legion?

With BlizzCon pretty much in the books for 2015, from the summaries here, I don't recall the devs mentioning anything about Pet Battles in Legion. Does it seem like that Blizzard will put this feature on the backburner, providing only minimal new content? It sort of felt the same way with Archaeology in WoD, as the goodies were not that spectacular. I did appreciate the catch-up mechanics for Pet Battles and Archaeology in WoD though.

Havent caught any intel on that either. But honestly, I wouldn´t mind if they spend as much emphasize on pet battles as they did in WoD. Pet battles are.. an optional time waster at best. And it should stay that way.

Sad that they did not mention it, other than a small blurb about moose being pets in the future.

I suspect new trainers, new pets and maybe some sort of new daily content

I take it that they will be focusing on more pressing content before they push on to the side-content

Which actually reminds me. Didn't Blizzard state that they will release Epic quality pets or legendary pets for players in WoD. Seems I forgot all about it.

They were also talking about introducing breeding and so on. But they obviously scrapped that. In all honesty, I don't mind it, as long as the other content is there and meaningful.

Holinka (For some reason..) mentioned them in a interview with the Virtual Ticket hosts during the downtime between one of the panels. There will be new content. I think the main reason why they haven't talked about it is because it's such a minor feature that shouldn't really get the preview priority over actual end-game content.

thats obvious why "he" he is pvp guy... wow will refocus from pvp to pvp pet battles! next year at blizzcon world championship in pvp pet battles! and everyone will have graves in lineup lol
