Why do homosexuals pretend sexuality isn't biological.

I've seen lots of posts around the internet by homoesexuals/bisexuals etc that say that homosexuality isn't a biological cause, but I've seen preschoolers with uber homosexual mannerisms, 4 year olds don't have sex or sexuality on the mind, who later in life (high school he "came out" [we all knew]) come out as gay, why is it such a bad thing to be born as gay to homosexuals. They seem to get very offended it you tell them it's a biological thing. I assume it has something to do with people calling it a biological defect which is a rude way of putting it. I was just hopping that some people from the LGBT community could enlighten me to the reason that might be offensive. I thought all people who had sexual preference agreed it was something they were born with.

Umm what? 99% of gay people on the internet explicitly say that being gay is something you are born with, not a choice they made.
