Out of all the classes, Warrior is the only one whose artifacts are all of the same weapon type: swords. Every single other class has in the very least two types of weapons. Whether it be staff and sword like the mage, or sword and dagger with the rogue. Warrior is the only one who is only sword sword and more sword.
As a class, Warrior has the largest history with using lots of weapons. They are able to use more weapons than any other class. Back from vanilla to wotlk, this meant they had to skill up more weapons than anyone. They had talents that would do different things depending on the weapon. Lore wise warriors use a large variety of weapons from the axes of the orcs, to the swords of the humans, even the fists when it came to Darious Crowley of the Worgen. Warriors use weapons.
Thats why its such a travesty that Warriors have been regulated to sword only. Blizzard says the artifacts reflect class identity. Should Warrior just be renamed "Sword master"?
Thats why I think that the artifact skins need a great deal of variety. Keep the default swords. But, unlike the other classes, have the various unlockable skins change what weapon type the weapon is. Have one of the arms models be a polearm, one of the fury ones be a pair of axes. Anything to give us variety. It'll have an effect in game too, as warriors will be going around with the largest variety in their weapon usage through legion, which is at it should be: warriors are the class of weapons. They have a mastery over them that others do not.
