Am I the only person who was slightly intrigued by the idea of having a non-dagger assassination (and vis-versa for other specs)? Basically giving mutilate the hemo treatment?
The idea made it to alpha/PTR for cataclysm or mop. I liked the idea personally, but bliz decided to just make daggers easier to obtain instead.

I'm surprised about the hate for the artifact. I'm Alliance for life and I think these are among the coolest weapons in Legion. Garona is an amazing character that is neither horde nor alliance. She has a very rich and extended story in the books and comics. The WoD Garona is not this person, as was mentioned. Furthermore. These are the daggers that changed Azeroth forever. Garona was manipulated into using them and considered Llaine Wrynn a friend prior to killing him. There's a great irony in using them to fight the Burning Legion, and Guldan specifically.

Lore-wise it's one of the most relatable Artifacts too; only a handful actually relate to characters in-game so I quite like that this one has a sense of familiarity to it.

I hope this and Destruction are in the next wave of unlocked specs. By the time the last bunch are released, the first couple of sets will be three or four iterations ahead!
A soldier will fight long and hard for a bit of colored ribbon.

i like assasination's concept of being someone that can bleed/poison someone to death. i hope we get to see assasination rogue on alpha soon!

Seems the people who didn't particularly like the whole "essence of Gul'dan" Artifact Passive got their wish:
Personally I think it's kind of bland now, like a glorified leeching poison, but we haven't seen the active ability yet so fingers crossed for something cool ^^ .Name changed from "Grasp of Gul'dan (Rank 1)" to "Hemotoxin (Rank 1)".
