Why would we do that?
There are a lot of downsides, but there are also upsides to centralization.
More resources = more power
Also reducing land borders for water borders is a strategic advantage.

I was referring to a one world government. If you are saying consolidate to defend against a two or three world government conflict, then I agree that would make sense.
As far as calamity, you wouldn't need a one world government to get all major powers to contribute to a global calamity.

Mexico is pretty different, then again we have like 11 million illegal Mexicans in the US.
They jokingly call it the "Reconquista".
Ha, ha very funny Mexico.

Mexico, never. Canada could however be annexed in the future when the oil runs out in the middle East.

As a Canadian, no thanks. I don't want to be American or Mexican.

I think america absorbing cananda is more likely than us absorbing mexico
I don't know if the US and Canada could agree on the size a football (not soccer) field should be.

As an American, Canada and Mexico can keep to themselves, thank you.
Plus, you need the Canadian Memes. They are just too good to not tease Canadian friends with them.
Don't diss Mexico, they're on their way to becoming the 8th richest country in the world. Then they will have their own illegal immigrant problem.

Ever? Yes. People in this thread are so very shortsighted.
Not in the next 100 years, no. My crystal ball doesn't go any farther than that, though.

I don't really believe that chart. A lot can happen in 35 years. Brazil, in particular, is going to be having a lot of issues with the populist socialism that's taken root there.

Or a yawing hole in a battered head
And the scuppers clogged with rotting red
And there they lay I damn me eyes
All lookouts clapped on Paradise

the united states of mexico will never take over canada...
however, if the us manages to take over canada before they are taken over mexicans, then yeah, it will be "united state of mexico eh?"
