    Complicated mmr question

If an account is Gold 2 Na. You transfer to Eu mid season, your mmr transfers you play your seed and make it to diamond 4. You collect rewards for diamond and transfer back to Na. Normally with a transfer your rank is reset but your mmr carries over but if you transfer back to the same region like Na they revert changes and give you your original name and rank as long as it hasnt decayed. My question is since i transferred back to na and my rank of gold 2 was reverted was my mmr as well? Or do I still have a diamond 4 mmr.

    MMR was likely reverted too.

Just like to share this as this isn't a common question. I've received a response from Riot.
    Hello again Summoner,

    Thanks for writing back.

I'm Jickoy and I'll be your support specialist while Charlie is not here. I'm sorry for the confusion with regards to my co-Rioter's response. I'll do my best to answer your inquiry.

Your MMR will not revert back as to what it was before you transferred. The MMR you had in Europe will transfer with you back to NA. Your previous NA MMR will be overlapped by your Europe MMR as soon as you transfer. You may be still in Gold 2 since rank tiers and divisions don't transfer, but with a Diamond MMR, you'll easily move up to higher tiers and divisions.

Should you have any other questions, please feel free to send us another ticket.

I've transferred to NA, mmr stays the same but the server doesn't. One thing I noticed about NA was that I get reported here much more and people tend to give less shits than EUW which infuriates the fuck out of me.

Yea everyone is just a bit happier and laidback in Eu it seems but the 120 ping compared to the 20 I have in Na... haha yea just more important i suppose.

Oh no I completely meant people care in EUW meaning it's far more toxic.

MMR doesn't stay completely the same. It does take super leaps to readjust though.

EUW is pretty serious here. Flame is pretty strong but not as bad as China and Korea.

Yea I'd just like it to be high. So i can place plat 2 or so start of season hit D4 in 50 or 60 games and then play 1 game a month til season end. Rank isn't really my forte. Rather that than spend hundreds of hours grinding it from gold to diamond. I was on Eu Nordic btw lol

Pretty much you are looking to play as many ranked games as you can now and get a higher rating or MMR than everyone else because the reset is still a soft reset but the better MMR you have, the better the MMR will be for the placement games.
