Why should you choose Voltaic?

Voltaic is a guild founded by friends in order to progress through content at a reasonable pace while it is relevant, since the guild was formed in late June we have progressed through Hellfire Citadel at a rather fast rate while still attempting to build our roster, we offer a strong progression rate while maintaining a friendly and fun raid environment that understands when to buckle up and play for real.

Our current goals are to solidify our roster of 20-25 players so that we can compete at a higher level come Legion, if you feel you are an above average player who has the capacity to learn, grow, and perform we would love to hear from you!

Guild Requirements

- Attendance -

During raid nights all of our raiders and trials are expected to log on at or before 9:45 Server Time in order for invites to go out and for us to start trash and begin pulling bosses at or before 10PM Server Time. With that we expect all of our raiders to maintain a 95% Attendance rate or higher and to inform leadership of when they will be absent for a raid so we can adjust and fill in slots ahead of time.

- Mindset -

Moving into Mythics with a progression oriented mindset is the most important quality we're looking for in our raiders, given that some bosses may take anywhere from 100-200+ pulls just to kill. With that in mind it is more important than ever for people to understand this and work hard pull after pull, always looking for something to improve on. It is unacceptable for our raiders to just give up on any given boss, we know we can do it... and we want our raiders to believe in themselves and their fellow teammates.

- Skill -

How well can you play your class? How well do you understand the fine little aspects of your class to take advantage of them to give yourself the edge when it comes to progressing in Mythic raiding? All of these things are taken into account when selecting players for our main raid, we want players that understand their class and the game at a deeper level than simply understanding just their rotation or what to do on a boss fight.

- Gear -

All of our raiders and trials are expected to be geared appropriately for their primary spec that they are being considered for, requiring at least a minimum of 710 iLvL (Especially now more than ever with item upgrades in place). If at all possible we would rather you have completed the Legendary Ring, but at a bare minimum you MUST have completed the 715 Ring. If you are unable to meet these requirements for gear, we will still consider outstanding applicants and offer Alt Raids on Weekends in which we do Heroic HFC and raiders in position for core spots are given gear over people's alts.

- Experience -

Experience definitely tells us a lot about what you are and have been capable of in the past and now. We are looking for applicants that are experienced in previous tiers and more importantly this tier, we don't want to have to relearn fights on Mythic as it is not fair to our existing raiders; but we are understanding in that we are looking for people that are close to our current progression in terms of experience.

- Requirements -

- Mumble with a WORKING Mic (Communication is key during progression)
- We would prefer 18+ players that act mature.
- Once forums are active, check them every few days to stay in the loop regarding news.
- Specific Raid Addons, they include

• DBM or BigWigs
• ExorsusRaidTools (ERT)
• WeakAuras
• RCLootCouncil

- A stable connection, we don't want people DC in the middle of pulls. Given mechanics in raids 1 DC can lead to a wipe.
- Your own consumables and funds to fuel your repairs, progression is expensive for one person. Having someone else foot your bill is disrespectful.
- Once you pass your trial, Consumables can and are provided by the guild.


Lastly, all applicants must have the following upon contacting an officer within the guild.

- Warcraftlogs or Worldoflogs parses so we can review them
- Screenshot of their raid UI within a raid environment
- Link to your Armory
