If the weapon they give is kind of bad, I will just buy a PvP weapon. X)

I expected survival hunters would get something when they logged in, and as I can read it is confirmed. Blizzard would also have failed big time if they didn't do something like that...

We will get a pre-patch where we get to test the new specs etc before launch, thats when you got your chance to get a good spear in preparation for legion.

Uuuuhm... 7.0 = melee Survival. Go HFC, set loot spec to SV and farm the spears... Most of us will probably have a few spears/staves disenchanted before patch hits, so there's big chance you'll get one from guild run... Already hunting mine :P

Also, PvP items. I don't know how Honor (the points) will work on Legion, so maybe they'll repeate what thet did to Justice items and make them cost gold?

Hell, worst case scenario you could always just slap on the garrosh heirloom weapon, just to get yourself going.

buy the pvp polearm. that's what i've done atleast.

And if you don't like PvP, bank 30k apexis, and on patch day get an armament use it, get the 20k upgrade object use it = 695 ilvl without much effort.
