*sorry for posting in the main forum and not the subforum*
Hey guys
I would like to know if it is worth it to change my setup from the AMD CPU to a intel one,
And i was thinking of a i5 4690k + fitting Mobo ofcourse.
Upgrading would require a new case + cooler aswell.
Reason for upgrading the CPU are these:
GTA V isn't running as smoothly as i would like to with the current set up.
Prepare for Legion / Other game releases in general.
Currently i am using this setup as of early 2014:
Mobo: MSI A78M-E45 A78
GPU: EVGA GTX 960 SSC 2GB DDR5
RAM: 16GB DDR3
CPU: AMD Athlon X4 760K 3800 FM2 BOX
Storage: 120GB Samsung Evo Series + Westen Digital 1 TB 7200 RPM
OS: Windows 10
Monitor: Asus VX248 full HD
PSU: EVGA 600 watt
Some minor info: i am dutch, pay with euro's and that's about it:P
The games i play:
- WoW
- GTA V
- Heroes of the Storm
- SC 2
- Different CoD games all multiplayer
- Skyrim
I am just not sure if it is worth to replace my current setup or just continue with it as is, till mid next year.
Basically i want to re-use the rest of the parts, i don't see the need to upgrade those.
Thanks in advance!
