    Decent setup with great cpu

    Budget: $800-$1000
    Resolution: 1080
Games: Mostly Blizzard games (I'd play games like Arkham Knight and Fallout 4 though)
    Country: US
Reused parts: GTX 750ti and its psu
    No OS or peripherals needed.

Hi guys. I'm looking into finding a great cpu/motherboard to last me the next decade really as I could maybe upgrade my video card later because what I have seems decent enough now. I have been looking into getting a SSD along with it. I found this ENVY 750xt setup from HP:

I would probably go with i7-4790k in case of overclocking, 16gb ram and the 256gb SSD which puts me at about $900. The processor seems to be highly rated on cpubenchmark.net and other sites but I am far from a computer expert and would love your opinions! Any other suggestions or inputs are invaluable too, thanks!

You don't need an i7 so thats a waste of money. I just made 1k$ build in another thread:

Using the at "least a decade CPU" argument + keeping old graphics card and PSU:

Not sure if this will last you a decade but it's a better bet than quad core i7s.
