    Right there with you. We've had our singletarget nerfed due to cleave before. More than once. Why should this time be different?

    Also not a fan of not being able to "target" a legendary. I've gotten two so far, but they're PvP legendaries (CC ring, ToD gloves), and provide no benefit in PvE apart from their high item level.

    PvP as a WW sucks!!!! Balls!!!! Roll and FSK don't work at all. Fuck you Blizzard!!! I am so angry. If I had one of those developers in front of me...

    Is no one playing this shit? SotW hits like a wet noodle against plate, 100k crit. Seriously? The fucking clones are all over the place. Arrrgh.... All for the hidden artifact appearance. It is finally done. And I will most likely never ever join a random bg again. Wow, that was a bad experience.

    I don't really like our artifact ability now. The problem I have with it is, that it isn't in any way interesting. Compared to the other specs and classes I play, it just adds nothing and is far more boring. Examples:
    - Arcane gets a nice dot with some scaling with max mana - also not that interesting, but at least something different with the scaling.
    - Fire gets an always-crit spell, which can influence their hot streak procs and by it the gameplay.
    - Frost gets a spell that adds 2 Fingers of Frost stacks.
    - Owl has its ramp-up mechanic, a really awesome animation and Lunar Energy (or whatever its called) generation tied to it, which opens up some possibilities with different talents e.g. Fury of Elune.
    - Resto druid has some nice interactions when you've got many hots running.
    - SV has basically a FoF with a longer CD, though with a lot more thought needed with the Mongoose scaling, which can make the ability hit really hard when played correctly.
    - BrM has a really nice additional, though situational tank-CD, which ads some damage and looks really good.
    - MW is the only other one I find really boring. Just a huge heal on a long CD, with the possibility to cast it earlier, but weaker.

    I'd love if they change it so it interacts with some of our mechanics, and/or isn't just fire and forget.

    Brewmaster feels in a weird spot right now. Defensively they aren't bad but they're awkward when doing overgeared content e.g heroic EN geared in heroic dungeons and worst of all, they suck so hard at pulling mobs that are spread. Well you have Exploding Keg but you REALLY don't want to use it just to pull, there's also Statue but you lose a powerful aoe stun. Keg Smash has a cooldown too. I really hope they have Statue as baseline or even Dizzying Haze back.

    My biggest gripe with the Monk class.

    So far I've been enjoying my Monk, but I noticed something that pretty much only happens to them (and maybe DHs now too).

    There really is no need for the entire class. In my search for a decent raiding guild (found one since then) I noticed that most guilds don't actively try to recruit the class. Same with mythic+ groups, have yet to run across one that specifically ask for a Monk class. We generally just fit in the generic "LF healer" or "DPS" or "tank" role. Where as I notice that classes like Shamans, Warriors, Paladins, Priests, and Druids are specifically asked for during guild recruitments or raids/groups.

    I came to the conclusion from this that we are basically just the filler class. We don't provide anything unique that would cause groups or raid to want to recruit us specifically. I joined the guild who just wanted another healer to bolster their ranks. Didn't really matter which. I would have been invited just as well if I had a "Resto" or "Holy" before my spec name.


    There really is no reason to specifically have a Monk in your guild. We are one of 4 leather classes now, so we're not even needed as a loot soaker.

    Oh my god yes! You have summed up my experience with my guild too. I was part of the prepatched wod and managed to hold my own with the tools i was given, but we were also carried by some mythic raiders haha. Legion flew in, did the first raid as part of a 20 man group, I'm in my element healing single target when needed, and aoe when bored, genning mana from hitting the boss when i have time, all good, highest heals and MVP of my guild healers.

    The move to heroic is messy though! We shrunk down to 14 men, druid, shammy and me. I told RL that this isn't my job, i fill in the gaps, we need a holy pala instead of a shammy or druid but got ignored cause i'm a monk and gotta be serene about things (curse of RP ) Come to wipe number 1426 and RL says okay monk, you're out, holy pala is in and they cleared it. I have the tools to be a good healer, but we're not specialised to do any certain thing! We're jobless! I HOPE that they can still fix something and give us some tank like dps to go with out healing a la the old fistweaving or at the very least stop nerfing ScK and our tools!

    There is definitely a LOT of love lost with Windwalker this expansion, for me. The issue for me is, pre-Legion WW dps was all in my hands. What I mean is, every button press did not feel predetermined by a "hit combo" talent. Essentially, you had a little bit of everything, from maintenance buffs, to the complex but exceedingly rewarding Storm, Earth and Fire. Those mechanics came together to create an experience that is now lost. Controlled chaos, as it were, no longer exists. I feel like I lost a very intricate and previously very rewarding play style.

    I love the new MW, so much simpler yet more difficult in other ways, really great.

    I am pissed about taking away our interrupts, I mean how many times I've gone into a random dungeon and nobody interrupts at all!
    I'm usually the one doing 5th sometimes up to the 3rd dps in random heroics, as a healer, but now I can't even interrupt except leg sweep, how annoying.

    You can use paralysis on most mobs, Jackchal for another "interrupt". You might not become best friends with shadow priests or other dot classes, though

    Can we please revert back to when soothing must was a active ability and not a fucking useless passive that does absolutely nothing. Also take my statue out of the fucking talent tier. Rant over.

    But seriously i cant be only one who misses the old soothing mist, It just felt so much more rewarding and engaging to use.

    If only...

    - Diffuse Magic actually reduced magic damage when it is not a dispellable magic buff only. (ex: Mythic Eye, Explosion stacks).

    - SEF didn't bug so much, making my clones stand still while I solo Fist of Fury my target

    - Expel Harm's Chi's (Gift of the Ox) would make any heals over 100% an absorb instead.

    - Leg sweep would be baseline.

    not a QQ thread! Maybe new PTR builds will fix some!
