    Upgrading desktop

    Hello, since there are a lot of sales i figured i might as well upgrade my desktop my current setup is
    CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
    Motherboard: ASRock H97M PRO4 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
    2x Memory: Kingston Fury Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
    Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
    Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 760 2GB DirectCU II Video Card
    Case: Corsair 200R ATX Mid Tower Case
    Power Supply: XFX 550W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
    2x Monitor: Acer H236HLbid 60Hz 23.0" Monitor

    Im thinking of getting the gtx970 sc acx 2.0
    Will i have any problems? I know i will have to discard my current video card

    I can't see any obvious issues. Should fit the case. PSU is fine.

    Also think i should wait for cyber monday or will the discounts be the same as black friday??

    Noone knows that, it will only be an assumption. My take on this is, grab what you can while its soon and there is stock. With everyone jumping on sales it will be hard to find what you want despite the price.

    Last question. Would you guys say 130 dollars is worth going from gtx 970 to 980?

    Nope.

    You are then better of with either a 390x or Fury.
