Heirlooms for dk leveling

So i want to level a dk for legion and there is 2 different heirloom sets, which one is the best?
and do i go blood or frost? and if i go frost do i dual-wield?

Give yourself all of them and switch out as you want.

None is the best, especially prior to level 75 when you have no regen talents. Blood decimates groups, frost decimates groups, unholy's diseases decimate groups...

Yeah but when it comes to gold i don't have much.
i have about 60k but i'm saving that for a wow token so 1 set is enough.

I'm partial to DW frost due to the AoE (but in Legion that all changes). If you want to go frost, go DW simply because once the pre-patch drops, frost is DW only. Otherwise, for utility I'd take the 2H because you can tank with it and go unholy with it.

Depends on if you want to do a little of everything, or just spam dungeons to reach the cap as fast as possible.
If you go dungeon you should be blood - instant queue is fast about which set to use, I would go valor for the crit. But the stats isn't that important, as long as you get the %XP you should be lvl100 in the blink of an eye

Yeah also, valor over the "tank" set. The tank sets aren't needed.

From what I understand you will still be able to, or more precisely you are able to currently in the alpha, but once you get the artifact weapon you're stuck in DW.

You're right. I just created a new DK in alpha and I can equip a 2H. It's pointless to do so, though, since Oblit is based on both weapons hitting.

Honestly I would take the 2H even for Frost if you just want to level quickly. The trinkets don't have pri stats, so howling blast will be weak, meanwhile 2H Obliterate will literally er... obliterate same level mobs well into Cataclysm. Well into MoP really, if you have the Archaeology polearm.
