Scary considering I'm hearing Ret damage is actually considered really bad in terms of sustained.

But based on the WoL stuff I've seen, it's more like sustained weakness. For some reason our stuff just doesn't scale well enough in PvE, but does okay in PvP. Possibly because of janky Justicar's Vengeance mechanics (which suggests it should be part of our default kit if it's the only functional way to PvP).

Yep this is what i am afraid off Blizzard taking away our mobility, range attacks, yet keeping us at high burst-low sustain dmg with an "OK" Survival kit and calling it a day. Thats why i posted a video about comparing DH (who suppose to be a high mobile class yet very soft) and compared it to Ret (which suppose to be a slow moving - hard hitting pain train), yet DH almost doubles our dmg, has much better survival, insane burst/very good sustain, and ofc an amazing mobility. And yes it is only alpha dmg is not tuned yet, but this is a good indication where our spec is heading, since when tuning will come around, every1 will get tuned and as we all know Rets scale terrible, so once other dps classes will start getting better gear, they will bypass us even at a greater margin.
