<Death and Taxes> is a Horde guild on Mal'Ganis. We returned to the game in May, and we're currently 11/13 Mythic. We're looking for members who would like to be a part of a large gaming community and help continue our push through legion.
Death and Taxes used T18 as a testing tier to build our guild and push through Hellfire Citadel in preparation for Legion.
If you can't currently commit to a 4 day raid schedule but have high quality logs Death and Taxes currently hosts a weekend raid group from 1pm-4pm Central time on Sat/Sun with a more casual mindset while still maintaining mythic goals.
Our goal is to recruit for a 30 man competitive environment having 30 raiders through Heroic, while subbing players in throughout all mythic bosses while ensuring full clears are capable for all members of the raid group.
Death and Taxes formed during WoW beta in 2004. We managed to achieve 14 World-Firsts and over 30 US-Firsts during Classic and Burning Crusade, all while maintaining a fun raid environment and multiple competitive PvP teams. Our members have a history of being among the best in each game we've played since then.
What we need:
This means we need players capable at playing alts at a competitive level for split runs, this does not mean that everyone is required to have an alt, but the more players that have alts the easier split runs will be in Legion. (Also players who play multiple of the same class are more than welcome to use those as their Heroic Split run alts)

Legion information
If you are interested in raiding with us in Legion feel free to post an application and speak with Kaaous our recruitment officer @ Smiley#1970. We are looking to build a roster of 50 potential candidates for Legion to ensure we will have a strong core raid group when legion is out. (PTR Testers also highly desired.)
Raiding Atmosphere
Our raid atmosphere is transitioning to a more hardcore raiding attitude. We enjoy horsing around on Mumble during down time while keeping on task during fights. It’s not unusual to find guildies hanging out before and after raids, and socializing while playing this game and others. We understand that farming pixels is fun and rewarding, but the relationships you build are what keep us coming back. That being said, we also know when to crank it up and put our game faces on when a boss kill is imminent or a first needs to be achieved. While we are no longer a guild that will raid 7 days a week for World 1st, we will continue to emphasize quality over quantity.
Schedule:
We currently maintain a raiding schedule of 4 days/week where we may sometimes swap Sunday/Monday.
Tuesday: 8 PM – 12 AM EST
Wednesday: 8 PM – 12 AM EST
Thursday: 8 PM – 12 AM EST
Sunday: 8 PM – 12 AM EST
Loot System
Our loot system currently is run by a modified loot council with emphasis on the overall effectiveness towards the raids progression. (Recruit vs. Members, raid attendance, upgrade, important to raid are all factors that are considered). The fact remains everyone is going to get loot and we want first drops in the hands of people that will make it the easiest to repeat the kills or progress on new bosses.
What We Expect From You
Members of DnT take end-game raiding very seriously. Our number one source of motivation isn't the pixels, but instead of achievement and pride of knowing we cleared all content, while doing it with a great group of people.
All members are expected to have Mumble installed, and the use of a head-set is required. We will not tolerate bickering, moaning or whining on voice-chat or otherwise and expect all members to conduct themselves as adults. You should know your class, be open to constructive cristicism and not be afraid to ask questions. Cast your ego aside and grow as a player.
