1. How do you know they aren't stupid?

2. How do you know that that isn't their actual voice. Dunkey's, a youtuber, girlfriend has a super high pitched soft voice but she isn't acting even though people constantly accuse people of it.

But in the case that they are pretending they do it because they are trying appeal to a bunch of guys who don't get any in real life. A softer voice could be linked to be submissive and being stupid could give the guys some sense of superiority. They are simply catering to their audience.
