This is total bullshit. I cannot find a single occurrence where a bomb threat was called into a school and a bomb was actually found. People who want to cause carnage and destruction dont warn you about it beforehand so you can evacuate the buildings, they just do it and cause as much death as possible. These are just pranks to get kids out of school. Also by doing this we are just showing cowardice and letting the terrorists know we will let them manipulate and control us. We should threaten back and rain hellfire down on those responsible

AFAK New York was also threatened today but NO school was closed. What was so scary with the LA threat all public schools were searched ?

Yeah, it was interesting the Mayor of NY came out and said they had the EXACT same threat, they stayed "par for the course" where LA went the other route.

What exactly does shutting down all the schools accomplish? Are they assuming that if there is a bomb, it's already been hidden in one of the schools? Couldn't the bomber just wait until the school session resumed and place the bomb then?

To be fair Obama said we have more concerning domestic issues. That could be a large number of things and not just I hate white males.
