You must think those things called guns the "bad" guys are firing can't be see while they are being fired? You think someone can't determine which ones are firing into a group? In Paris, the first hint was the black balaclavas and the the AK-47s (wood not plastic) and everyone was running away from that area.

In reality a shooter isn't going to let someone in his line of sight for long before actually shooting them. This isn't one of your video game fantasies.

But sure, let's have a bunch of additional armed civilians on sight and leave it to the police to wait and withhold judgement on if they are a good or bad guy until they see who they are firing at. I'm sure all the millions of police threads on this forum are firm believers in the competence of the police.

we need very strict gun control no ends ifs or buts about it. just get it done or more people will die really it is that simple all right wingers you have blood on your hands for every victim that dies due to lack of gun control.

"More people will die" regardless of access to guns. And the only people with blood on their hands are those who pull the trigger. I know it's a lot to ask, but at least try to think before you post.

The assault weapon ban was dumb but compare the number of gun related death in Paris to the United States. Is their any proof that army citizen would have helped? I mean they were throwing pipe bombs and opening fire on an unsuspecting crowd.

Do these 'good guys with a gun' realize that if they weren't actually full of themselves and responded to a terrorist mass shooting they would more than likely shoot innocent bystander than the bad guy before being shot by the police thinking they are the terrorist?

In all fairness, if he had the actual power to do so without hanging his party out to dry like Clinton did, he probably would have done more.

So many Democrats and Republicans alike took a major hit after the Clinton AWB expired.

It is a form of political suicide in actual states where you can run the risk of loosing your position.
