And who needs hair-produced warmth, that's what clothing is for. Hair is absolutely abysmal at producing warmth.

That's why it needs to be removed. You wouldn't employ someone who does a job poorly for very long, so what's different with a beard.

Pretty sure I have baby face and I couldn't care less, just as long as I'm not stricken with a face-plague of hair.

Baby face can only be stricken when you have the beard and you completely remove it.

My facial hair grows rather quickly and then more or less comes to a halt and then slowly grows from there.

Mine is getting thinner as well in one place while balding is starting in another. Soon I may just have to shave my head completely, which won't be pretty, or will have to look into Rogaine.
