Sex is a commodity. Open sexuality is a direct threat to the Matriarchal Power Structure, but more importantly 'free love' is bad for business.

Sounds like someone got caught banging someone else's child.

Why is there so many people obsessed about the US and how we do things?
If we blur out nipples on tv does it hurt your feelings?

While they might not care if their children, or children in general, are exposed to sex they don't get to make that decisions for other peoples children.

    So we compromise.
    Bingo.

The magic word here is "children."

And anyone who has them knows everything changes when you have one, including a person's entire outlook on life.

America is one of the most liberal countries in the world, it's also one of the most conservative ones. You see this all over the world anyways.

So are ours. The Americas as a whole have polarization and a schizophrenic relationship with sexuality. Occasional horndogs, occasionally fundamentalists.

Hate to break it to you, but every state has different ways to go about it. And just about every state has background checks.
So get off the high horse. You look rather silly up there.

This thread smells funny to me. I was thinking of something of a serious answer before the thought that this is a cleverly disguised nation bashing thread... I mean, the US's puritan roots, corporate-fed-and-filtered media, and highly conservative populations are quite well known, even to the rest of the world. If that isn't self-explanatory by now, then what's the honest point of the thread?

now now , it is too many bible bangers that can't change a channel or watch their kids.

Personal responsibility was something this country was founded on,however it seems that washed away faster than our "puritan roots"
Do they make a hair dye for that?

Because too many in other nations want to feel better about themselves.
Their own respective media is likely full of news regarding the US...which, if nothing else, makes the country sound so much more exciting than their own.

Its not about better or worse. We have a lower drinking age for example (which IMO is bad).
Just curious since we have so much freedom about sex, and you dont. While your basicly european immigrants.

Wrong. Europe is more traditional, yet we don't act like you when talking about sex.
So explain why showing someone's head getting blown off is fine, but talking about sex isn't? Why aren't both fine, or both bad?
