I can see that. I was primarily worried about the spectator side of things. I would much rather have a 1v1 game where the people you're watching/playing as aren't as big as a kiwi on your screen.

Yeah, but I wasn't talking about weapons and flashy attacks, I meant the combo-based gameplay and 3D depth. Which both games do similarly.

It was a joke about the term "MoBA" being a League of Legends specific genre name that they used heavy marketing to push while other games of a similar nature, that predate it, never did and still do not call themselves by.

Oh c'mon, there are good 2D fighters. Might not be your thing, but the most popular fighting game in history is a 2D fighter.

So... 1v1 of only Warcraft characters in Heroes of the Storm or a duel in World of Warcraft roleplaying as a major characters? No thanks. No reason for the creation of an unnecessary team in the Blizzard company to make a game that can pretty much be played in two others they already are making. Better off just using the resources and time to further their current six titles.
