Popular board games that you can play on PC

Are there any board games that I can play on the PC with other people? Games similar to Sheriff of Nottingham?

Got a PC version of monopoly a while back with a newspaper.
Local multi-player only, and not even a very good version of the game.
    But at least it saves.

Not a board game as such, but Heroes of Might and Magic 3 is entirely turn-based and has a lot of board game-like elements.

No online multiplayer as far as I know, in case that's what you wanted, but good for playing with friends if you only have one PC.

Get Tabletop Simulator and never see the sun again. You can find just about everything in there. But there are several good ones, like Talisman that people mentioned. I still don't have all the DLC, b/c it's pricey, but it's probably the best board game adaptation I've seen so far.

Agreed, I like how they tackled the large amount of house rules it had. It's a great game for hearing the lamentations of your friends as you dick them over.

Steam has pretty much everything you're looking for. Monopoly, Cataan, Ticket to Ride, etc.
