TO FIX WOW:1. smaller server sizes & server-only LFG awarding satchels, so elite players help others. 2. "helper builds" with loom powers - talent trees so elite players cast buffs on low level players XP gain, HP/mana, regen, damage, etc. 3. "helper ilvl" scoring how much you help others. 4. observer games like in SC to watch/chat (like twitch but with MORE DETAILS & inside the wow UI) 5. guild leagues to compete with rival guilds for progression (with observer mode).6. jackpot world mobs.

Hard to say. I think the news about Trump running for president is more potentially damaging to the world, since this guy can seriously mess up the world politics - but ISIS is a more immediate threat, so I voted for it.

The whole civil war/ ISIS. It's been dominating the news cycle all year. The paris attacks were just an extension of that, although for a singular story that would probably be it.

and here i was considering the arctic circle going above freezing temperatures in the winter for the second time since recorded weather...being a big deal...
that a storm could push up through a weakened jet stream...heh....we all gonna die.
out of that list i chose the river flooding, correlation (yes i know since both are caused by weather they don't really correlate but heh...close enough)Still I cry, tears like pouring rain, Innocent is my lurid pain.

It's CRISPR-Cas9 and it's not even close.
New Horizons is definetly up there. As is the fall of oil and oil-producing country's fortunes. China's tumults are a big deal too. And of course, there is SpaceX's landing. Those would be two, three, four and five in no particular order
But number one is CRISPR. Nothing comes close to CRISPR, which will change the world.

The Paris attack had the most shock factor and immediacy. There are a lot of things on that list that are important though.
