Does anyone else get completely knocked out from head colds? I can tolerate the sneezing and phlegm, but I also get some pretty bad chills, headaches, and overall acheyness. My husband just gets the sniffles, the bastard.

All you need is a good gas chamber.

It only happens to me about once a year, and yes, it usually hits me pretty hard. Make "man flu" jokes all you want, but I just call in sick and stay in bed for at least the first day of it. Not only because I feel like complete shit but also because I want to avoid spreading it.
Only seems to hit me around March/April. I figure it's either triggered by allergies or some reaction to the temperature swings, but it's pretty consistently around that time every year. I can't complain much, because I'm usually good for the rest of the year after it's over.
