I won't kill myself. Good enough?
To get out of my current shitty job.
Seriously though new years resolutions are b*****ks.
If there's only one day in a year where you promise to do better, you're already doomed for failure. That's probably why most people fail at keeping their new year resolutions.
Interesting to see if anyone actually has some concrete, written down goals for 2016 and not just wishes like "I don't want to be fat anymore" or "I want to stop smoking".
Personally, I have written down goals on multiple levels with deadlines for the coming 12 months.
I did the same last year and I reached them all!
Nothing. I am done with that. I never hold em anyway! ^^
I have a couple:
Realistic ones:
-Get my Mandarin up to a level where its good enough to work in China.
-Gain 8kg
-Deadlift 240kg, Benchpress 120kg, Squat 180kg.
-Buy a new apartment for renting out
Unrealistic ones:
-Buying an apartment in Beijing (I am already pushing the paperwork and working my best, but not much hope)
-Quit drinking
To call people out on their bullshit new years resolutions.
Gonna get myself one of those "girlfriends" I keep hearing about.
Nothing, its all bullshit anyway.
Stop paying attention to the stupidity of modern feminists and SJW's, and in turn, be more happy.
To be less negative. Be more patient with people who I think are idiots.
I'm going to be more kind and compassionate and stop referring to others as "you assh*les".

Pretty much this.
I guess my big thing would be better eating/diet habits. It's starting to hit me that I'm no longer a bulletproof teenager/college student who can just eat/drink whatever I want whenever I want with no regard for my health. I had a clinic visit about a week ago where my blood pressure was really high when they checked it, and they started asking me all these questions about what I eat, talking about what other stuff can happen to you as a result of high blood pressure like stroke, aneurysm, etc, so yeah, that scared me a little.
Although it's been normal every day since when I've checked it, so maybe that was just a fluke. Still, it's like....first time that's happened after making it from 20-30 with pretty much zero health problems ever aside from occasional cold/flu type stuff, so it made me start taking things a little more seriously.
Although it's really just more of a timing thing that this happened in late December than a new year's resolution.
