Should I be using crimson tempest in my single target rotation now that there is enhanced crimson tempest?

nope. Even in full aoe its hardly worth the dot tbh, 7+ tagets only. (someone with more math skills than me will confirm actual number)

enhanced CT is a baffling thing, the base DOT component is irrelevant here, rather the "enhanced" bit about the 6s of 30% more poison damage.

There must be some design intent with this, but the only thing I can imagine is for very short burst AOE, like hands on Kromog. (since you generally dont run Sin for AOE).
Like build up (prepare) 10 CPs, hit CT then envenom and then you have about 5 s of 30% more poison damage with envenom buff running on FoK poison applications (also the envenom probably hit 30% harder).
But I dunno if it maths out better or not to just spend those 5 cps on another envenom, you´d think the CT damage, dot and 30% boost to FoK applied poisons during envenom would amount to more then an envenom.

Kinda curious on what the intent of Enhanced CT is though.
