I love this hero (played a bit on the PTR) so far, gameplay wise - the only thing that irks me is that her running animation is (new) night elf male levels of horrible. I guess there's literally no chance of that changing though.

All out magic missiles. The damage this build puts out is shockingly high, the highest I've been able to get. Once you get mirror ball, you're a wrecking machine and pretty much never miss a Seeker bonus.

The level 1, 4 and 13 synergy is strong too, I actually think too strong but it's being held back by her buggy AA issues.

This is a video Kendrick Swish (who does the epic plays of the week vids) made with Li-Ming. He went for a full W build and it is amazing for poking, it is only against AI but you can see her kit and the talents in use well. Also he shows the archon mode in try mode at the end. I imagine it would be best to stop people capping objectives or just waiting poking in general. Her zoning ability seems better than Kaels with a W build

I started using that build to, and you aren't kidding about the synergy. If you hit more than 3 it does insane damage. The only thing I would change out of that build is the leve 1 talent. I don't think mana is that much of a problem. So I've been taking the no mana teleport with lower CD. Then I can just teleport everywhere freely. And it counts as stacks for the level 13 talent. So you can teleport a few times and open up with a 400+ AA.

I think Orb build damage is a bit more consistent. It's harder to hit far away shots but when you land it can do like 1700 damage at level 20. And if you hit that shot it only has a 3 second CD. So it's pretty powerful.

Very much agreed, I enjoy the poke playstyle too, I like that kind of a build where the front line or healers are lacking. Queue times are so long though, so it's hard to be sure where my heart really lies.

It may not be the best, but I love long range arcane orb nukes.

I wiped out quite a few people already because I'll kill one from so long, and the other won't expect it again. Definitely my favorite mage now.
