Thread: Overwatch build

    Question Overwatch build

Hello folks, I've been really exited for Overwatch and want to make a build to play it, if possible I would like to buy a "console killer" build if possible, since I also would like it to be able to run Black ops 3 and fallout 4

Budget: 500 to 600, can go for more but would like to keep it around that price if possible
    Resolution: 1080p
Games / Settings Desired: Overwatch,Black ops 3, fall out 4 (around medium to high settings)
Country: i dont live in the states but I can pretty much get anything from amazon for sure. Also maybe new egg, but not entirely sure
Parts that can be reused: I have the case and an 128gb ssd, so I will need a non-ssd HD for more space
Do you need an OS?: nop
Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)?: maybe a cheap monitor, but that won't be counting on the budget since it's not a priority right now

    Thanks in advance

I went for a Z170 in this build so you can reliably BCLK overclock your cpu for some extra kick.

thanks for the builds guys. Got one question, a friend send me this build, what do you guys think about it ] pcpartpicker. com /p/df4DBm

I can't post links yet sorry. Also would it be better to go amd or intel on the cpu? nvidia or amd on the gpu?

    Fixed your link
That cpu is extremely weak, safe to say no AMD cpu is worth buying at the moment, especially a dead platform like FM2. Money are also wasted on that GPU, $233 for that particular R9 380 is a lot - you can get one for ~$180 or less (or a GTX 960).

For any sort of serious pc gaming you want an intel cpu so that alone on your friend's list is a big no. For the gpu it really depends. On paper an R9 380 is little bit better than a gtx960 overall. But in reality that will come down to each game. Ie blizzard games between those two gpu's nvidia is better. In blackops3 they are similar, gtx960 being better by 3fps @ 1080p, same goes for fallout 4. Thats the reason i reckon a gt960 really, especially the evga that is high overclocked. Its small differences really you could pick either and be fine.
