she sits on her ass and answers phone calls then comes home and tells me she needs a mental health day. and shes on salary. and she makes more money than me.

In my experience, dealing with stupid people all day is a lot more mentally taxing than manual labor, so, yeah.

On topic: conceptually, yes, technically, no, but I'm a software engineer, so that's going to be true for almost anyone who isn't in the same field.
