There are a lot of obese people who weren't born obese. Most of them in fact.
Well, people ARE born white and black. (at least by the cultural definition of what it means to be white and black)
Obesity concerns weight, which can change. Ever seen the biggest loser?

Thyroid problems generally cause gland deformation and swelling, so you can actually TELL who has a Thyroid problem. Also, being fat can cause Thyroid problems.

Also no, there is no excuse to be obsese, I eat constantly yet I have the common sense to exercise.

Obese is a terminology that describes a (almost always preventable) condition. We have to be able to use descriptors without it being considered hateful. "Lardass" is hateful. "Obese" isn't.

People aren't born obese, they get that way through the bad lifestyle choices they make.

That's not true in the least, a lot of children are born big and it steadily gets worse, it is called having a very low metabolism, the other thing that contributes to it is believe it or not it is less expensive to eat unhealthy than healthy which with this economy every cent counts.
