Deadpool vs. Wolverine? Plus are you excited for the Deadpool movie?

Didn't they already fight in the Wolverine movie and Wolverine decapitated him? Deadpool was defeated, yes?

Well, in the comics, Deadpool kills Wolverine with a sword that inhibits regeneration powers. Neither are canon, but that movie is so far from canon you could possibly get, lol.

The real deadpool can regenerate from a fingertip. Decapitation is really more of a nuisance to him.

Both had their immortality stretched to the point of nonsense.

Wolverine died, went to hell and came back. He also survived an atomic blast and regenerated from as little as drip of blood on some magic stone.

Deadpool cant die because Thanos, Marvel's god of death, wont let him die because Thanos is in Love with Death (as in female grim reaper) and he'd rather have him live eternally rather than let him die and allow him to meet Death (female grim reaper).

Comic books have gone so crazy and asspullish with their alternative dimensions that the true victor of this would relly on which fanbase would overshout the other with "Nu-uh! you lose! I win! nanananananah!". And in such case, Wolverine will win because from a mainstream point of view his fanbase is much bigger and long going, he's pretty much Marvel's poster boy. Deadpool is something that just emerged recently when his first big exposure was in MvC3 and his own game.

I read a pretty bad review the other day, but it also seemed like it was written by someone who had no idea who the hell deadpool was but went in expecting him, and the movie to be the typical comic book/action movie...and thats just not deadpool. I think this just may be a movie where you just have to know what kind of prick deadpool is to really understand or respect the movie.
