So feminists, is the behavior of the two women in the above video OK by you? It reeks of double standards to me.

That's the thing that drew your attention?

Also Trask, if you read this, how about her?
That should be the equivalent of a trap to you.

This. Its hilarious people in this thread are so fixated on proving why barbie imposes these beliefs, however it all boils down to "are young girls so stupid that they believe they must look like this hyper unrealistic looking doll?"

Its offensive to keep claiming women are this dumb.

    Supe's proportions weren't always silly.

Also, if you're not a feminist you're wrong. Feminists want equality for men and women. If you want something other than that, including making women superior, you're not a feminist.

I didn't even know what He-Man was before I stepped into this thread... That alone, I guess, kind of diminishes the significance of the OP's point.

I still don't understand how Barbie is such a bad thing... Sure, she has an unrealistic body, but so do MANY MANY MANY other toys marketed for boys AND girls.

Little girls are taught from a very young age that they can be ANYTHING, but an unrealistic plastic body is the only thing that "Society" gives any fucks about.

So, can we please stop pretending that the issue with Barbie is anything beyond the doll being unrealistically thin and pretty. Petition Mattel to make a Barbie with more "Realistic features" if it is such an issue to you.
Boys and Girls are constantly bombarded with unrealistic expectations of them everyday, yet we only get butthurt about the ones that we ourselves are insecure about. If some of you had spent as much time filling out petitions, and tweeting Mattel as you do posting on these forums (Yes, that would be tens of thousands of of tweets) you would be able to affect change. You however, sit here and complain about injustice, and how it is everyone else keeping you back.
I say this with nothing but love... Shut the fuck up, and go do something about it.

NOTHING. THERE ARE NO UNREALISTIC EXPECTATIONS TO BEGIN WITH.

There is no collective male opinion that screams "Be like my favorite pop singer/waifu/porn star or GTFO"
There is no collective female opinion that screams "Be like my favorite one direction boy/husbando/porn dick or GTFO"

All of this is just paranoia artificially manufactured by Tumblr/SJW/x-ists fruit cakes that are facing the carnage known as rejection.

    Dates still happen.
    Marriages still happen.
    Sex still happens.
    Babies are born.
    Humanity is still reproducing.

    All is right
    God is in his heaven.

What we are just witnessing is whimpers of those who natural selection is in process of eliminating.

Few are blind to it, the difference is Barbie has sales numbers in the Billions, where as He-Man and other unrealistic male action figures can't hold a candle to GI Joe, and Star Wars figures which are both nearly equal to barbie.

Basically He-Man is not Barbie's Equal. There is no one character for boy's who has as much social impact.

Feminism is some stupid bullshit. We have serious problems on the planet and we stand to discuss all the head crawlers of some ladies who would better start looking at themselves.

Give them a few overzealous sharia african and arab men and let them discuss their views upon the world.

Not only this, but to turn the argument around, if you base the looks of your Toys, TV, and Videogames characters completely on reality, then you have no imagination. Just imagine if all Warcraft characters had to be Humans with "realistic" dimensions.

Also an FYI, more than 50% of Americans are Overweight with at least 20% being Obese. 2% of Americans are underweight, and Obesity/metabolic disorders kill far more people each year than malnourishment in countries where food isn't scarce has killed people SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME. Feminists (or anyone) picking this battle are attempting to confiscate firecrackers while someone drives off with a nuclear bomb.
