I live in a suburb. But in the neighboring cities, there are buskers. And yes, I tip them when I see them.

There's 2 guys who play washboard downtown. One of them is blind I think he gets more money.

I never give them money they aren't good enough for me to pay for. Washboard sucks.

Only once did I see one. He got removed from the street a few minutes after someone called the police.

It encourages loitering is one reason. It's also undesirable.

I didn't think about that. I always saw it as a good way to get people out in front of a store or something and maybe generate walk in traffic. Plus it's free entertainment.
