I currently have the fist weapon Zakuun with a socket and the offhand form Gorefiend equipped currently, and yesterday evening I bonus rolled the staff from Gorefiend. What should I have equipped? Gorefiend oh isnt great, id you had the mannaroth one id say mh/oh. The stats on gorefiend staff are ideal, for the sake of 1 socket id probably use the staff.

The fist still wins due to iLvl, though. 120 SP more than makes up for the minor differences in secondaries.

Yeah I'd definitely go for the MH/OH combo. Higher ilvl (so extra spell power) + socket.

General rule of thumb when you face a decision like this is almost always to choose the higher item level weapon .

Yeah I forgot mh was 5 ilv over the staff, even without the socket it would win, with the socket its a no brainer, mh/oh. Sorry for earlier post.
